A program that is up to date in Medical Education practices and is able to adapt to new challenges while working towards sustaining the School of Medicine’s core mission.

Mission

To promote a continuous learning community and to work towards the implementation of the Mission, Strategic Plan and Educational Objectives of the School of Medicine.

Program goals

• To train our faculty so they will obtain the knowledge, skills and attitudes needed to achieve excellence as educators.
• To train our faculty so they obtain the necessary skills to conduct basic, clinical and educational research.
• To train our faculty to be effective leaders and administrators.
• To train our residents so they obtain the necessary skills to teach medical students and peers.
