The Histopathology Section is located on the third floor, Office A-391, and the Electron Microscope Unit is in the basement Office BB-11 of the Medical Sciences Campus Building Dr. Guillermo Arbona-Irrizary, at the Puerto Rico Medical Center grounds.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Working Hours<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The regular working hours are from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Services Offered<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Histopathology and Electron Microscopy Laboratory processes the human tissues obtained during surgery or autopsy, which arrive for consultation and\/or diagnosis. They can arrive\u00a0 as a H&amp;E stained slide, formalin-fixed specimen or specimen embedded in paraffin (specimen block).
