This two-week intensive training workshop provides a robust background in bioinformatics suitable for teaching and research. The first week of t raining focuses on the analysis of a gene and/or protein famity. The second week focuses on assembling and analyzing data from next-generation sequencers.
Bioinformatics Internship

Through t his program, participants will work directly with the Pittsburgh Supercomputing Center staff in Pittsburgh on a bioinformatics research project of the partid pants choosing. As a part of the internship, participants will attend the PSC’s Bioinformatics Summer Institute.
