Welcome to the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine and University District Hospital Nephrology Division. Our mission is patient centered, combining service, education and research in the field of kidney diseases. The main divisional activities are: clinical services encompassing full scope nephrology services including diagnostic and management evaluations, dialysis and transplant.
Our Nephrology Fellowship Education program is fully accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME). Health services oriented research initiatives and projects, form the core of the investigative agenda.
