The mission of the Department of Pediatrics of the UPR School of Medicine is to:
- Provide timely, high-quality, evidence-based, family-centered pediatric health care facilitating seamless transition to adulthood.
- Advance research and deliver innovative education transpiring across future generations of health care professionals.
- Lead advocacy efforts to ensure the health and well-being of children, families, and communities.
