RESEARCH AREAS

Neuroprotection against stroke and Organophosphate Poisoning

RESEARCH INTEREST

I have a broad background in molecular biology including drug development using SELEX technique and neuroscience with specific training and expertise in cell differentiation.  I have been working the last 8 years almost exclusively in neuroprotection. During this period of time I developed interest in neuroprotection against ischemic stroke and organophosphate poisoning. My group are focusing in developing new drugs that are able to protect the neurons after these two illness.
