Improve the working environment and culture among UPR-SoM faculty by providing access to available resources, faculty development, and wellbeing programs.
Orient junior faculty regarding appointment, renewal of appointment, promotion, tenure, and UPR policies.
Oversee faculty recruitment procedures in order to ensure compliance with the UPR SoM Diversity and Inclusion policy.
Facilitate, in conjunction with the Associate Deanship of Academic Affairs, development of teaching, research, administrative, and leadership skills through faculty development activities.
Foster mentoring relationships between junior and senior faculty.
