• Mission
    • Improve the working environment and culture among UPR-SoM faculty by providing access to available resources, faculty development, and wellbeing programs.
    • Orient junior faculty regarding appointment, renewal of appointment, promotion, tenure, and UPR policies.
    • Oversee faculty recruitment procedures in order to ensure compliance with the UPR SoM Diversity and Inclusion policy.
    • Facilitate, in conjunction with the Associate Deanship of Academic Affairs, development of teaching, research, administrative, and leadership skills through faculty development activities.
    • Foster mentoring relationships between junior and senior faculty.
