The Microbiology Department congratulates Mitchell Rosado for obtaining an R36 Aging Research Dissertation Award to finish his Ph.D. studies, funded by NIH.
Mitchell is a grad student of Biomedical Sciences program in Microbiology, developing his work at the Sariol (UPR) and Mackler (ASU) labs.
He is interested in investigating how the immune system and the immune response against pathogens are affected by age and social behavior using immunophenotyping and genomic approaches.
We congratulate Micthell’s tenacity and the valuable mentorship of Drs Sariol and Mackler.
