Our residency seeks to connect with the greater medical community beyond the walls of our department. We have a close relationship with the UPR School of Medicine’s radiology interest group known as SORAD. Participation of residents and attendings allows medical students the opportunity to get to know the department in a stress free environment beyond the hospital. A variety of activities are held ranging from academics, such as journal clubs, to general advice sessions for students applying for radiology. Connections can be made for students to get engaged in research and further exposure to the field of radiology.
