The President of the University of Puerto Rico, Dr. Walker Uroyoán R. Ramos, visited the Medical Science Campus and the School of Medicine. He said a few words to the students who participated in the activity Back to School, and also students and residents visiting the Conrado F. Asenjo Library. Later, Dr. Walker went to the amphitheater where the class of 2017 and 2018 were surprise by his visit. The President encourage them to keep the good work, to study hard because “You are the future of our country”.
He toured the campus, talked with students and also expressed interest in improving communication between the Office of the President and students, making all of the Campuses of the UPR system, a good place to study. Before he left we heard him said: “If we serve students better, we make a better country.”
