How to apply?
The Anesthesiology Residency Program at the University of Puerto Rico accepts applications exclusively through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) and participates in the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP) Match.
Through the ERAS platform, applicants may build and deliver their application materials, either individually or as a complete package, directly to our program.
Completion of a clinical rotation within our department is highly encouraged, as it provides valuable exposure to our training environment and allows both the applicant and our faculty to determine whether the program is the right fit for their professional and personal growth.

Applicants must submit the following credentials:
- Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- Personal Statement or Cover Letter
- Official Medical School Transcripts
- Dean’s Letter (Medical Student Performance Evaluation)
- Official Record of USMLE I & II CK Scores
- Three Letters of Recommendation
