Compensation
The stipend depends on the Resident’s training level. The Resident’s stipend is exempt from Puerto Rico’s income tax. Current stipend structure is as follows:
- PGY 1 – $43,150
- PGY 2 – $43,412
- PGY 3 – $45,246
- PGY 4 – $46,691
- PGY 5 – $48,136
- PGY 6 – $49,582
