Application is made on the form provided for the purpose. If financial assistance is required, it should be so indicated. Once a complete application is received, is sent to the department concerned for review. In addition, it is expected that, whenever physically possible, the graduate faculty of the Department concerned will personally interview the student.
The graduate advisor of the Department will forward its recommendation to the Graduate Committee, which will then evaluate the case and make its decision. A decision of financial assistance from Graduate School funds will also be made by the Committee.
