The Mission of the School of Medicine is:
- To provide undergraduate, graduate and continued medical education with the goal of training competent and compassionate physicians able to serve the underserved.
- To develop basic and clinical research scientists who are sensitive to our social and health issues.
- To provide high quality clinical services to significantly enhance the health status of Puerto Ricans.
