Welcome to our web page! The information included is intended to guide you over who we are and what we do.
The specialty of Obstetrics and Gynecology is dynamic, diverse, challenging, and full of rewards. Our passion for the profession has its roots in the training we received. The Department is committed to continued excellence and growth as we carry our missions of education, clinical services and research. As Program Director, I work hard to bring our future Ob-Gyn professionals a clinical and educational program of quality and full of challenges. We count with a great faculty and an excellent group of residents fully committed with the program.
The residency program was initially accredited in 1956 and continues accredited. Our graduates have an outstanding performance as obstetricians and gynecologists, that excels wherever they are, making the name of our school shine. They have an excellent performance in the BOARD Qualification exam, facilitating their certification and to reach a good standing wherever they practice.
Our residents are committed to service and learning. Our program is focusing on medical knowledge, ethics, communication skills, professionalism, and sensitivity needed to bring a patient care of high quality. Research is an important part in our training. Residents have to work with our faculty in research projects leading to scientific publications.
