  • Strenghten the capability to foster and promote scientific research and graduate education.
  • Develop a quality driven administrative system characterized by faster turn around times for process outputs and sensitive to the needs of faculty, students and other constituents.
  • Position the Faculty Practice Plan among the most succesfull multi-specialty group practices in Puerto Rico.
  • Foster a student oriented environment.
  • Strenghten the integration of Information Technologies (IT) in the areas of service, education, and research.
  • Improve the School on and off-campus physical facilities.
  • Strenghten the financial status of the School of Medicine.
  • Strenghten the leadership position of the School of Medicine in health education, biomedical research and clinical service in Puerto Rico and the Caribbean.
